Heritage Village

Situated in the breakwater, right in the midst of Abu Dhabi, the Heritage Village offers tourists to look into the past of the emirates due to the museum that seems to be alive. The museum shows facets of the traditional Bedouin lifestyle and those coming from other cultures, which are employed in fishing, trading and agriculture. The village also features courtyard houses, workshops wherein artisans show their skills, tents and the ancient irrigation system. Tourists who visit the village, gets an opportunity to test their skills and learn from artisans in the village. Aside from that, there are plenty of souvenir shops offering exotic spices and authentic pottery. The village is open from Saturday through Thursday, 9:00am to 5:00pm and on Friday, 3:30pm to 9:00pm.
