Al Ain, means spring in the Arabic language, is also known “The Garden City” as well as the following largest city in Abu Dhabi, which is also the 4th in the United Arab Emirates when it comes to size. Al Ain, being the Garden City of the Emirates is well known due to its greenery. It has an approximate population of around 650,000, located 160 kilometers east from the capital of Abu Dhabi and 120 kilometers south from Dubai. Al Ain is also where Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was born, UAE’s first president. Al Ain also has the largest number of Emirati nationals. It is also historically known as the al Buraimi Oasis or Tawam.
